Metal Working Basics

For those interested in doing metal fabrication and sculpture. This is an introductory class where you learn to use basic metalworking tools. What you?ll learn: - Angle grinders (with all attachments/wheels - Bench Grinder - Metal Break - Chop Saw and Cut-off saw What to wear: Wear long sleeves, natural fibers, jeans and closed to shoes--leather, preferably Experience Level: All are welcome to join (members and non-members), this class also qualifies as a sign off for Chimera members. Note: We also host an Intermediate class teaching Welding, Plasma Cutting, and more on Fridays. Cancellation Policy: This class has a minimum attendance of 4, all attendees must register 72 hours in advance.
