Django Shredders

“The Life and Times of Django Reinhardt,” performed by Alex Ciavarelli and Rudy Marquez, tells the story of the Belgian jazz guitarist regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and the frenzy of songwriters he influenced. Marquez and Ciavarelli are young jazz guitarists who bring exuberant energy coupled with virtuosity to the late master’s convoluted renderings of what we now call gypsy jazz.
